A Tag Database can keep different filtered views of the same tag. Create a new view before filtering to temporarily hide cards without changing your original view.
Create a filtered view
Create a new view for the Tag Database.
Open Filter.
Add conditions for the cards you want to display.
Cards that do not match are hidden only in this view; they are not deleted.
Choose and combine conditions
In the desktop or web app, you can filter by:
Whiteboard and Tag membership.
Keyword or the database’s title field.
Created time and Updated time.
Tag properties such as Date, Number, text, selection, or relation. Available operators depend on the property type.
Match mode | Cards shown |
All (AND) | Cards that match every condition. |
Any (OR) | Cards that match at least one condition. |
Example: match both a whiteboard and another tag
In the new view’s Filter, add Whiteboard → Contains and select the whiteboard.
Add Tag → Contains and select the tag.
Choose All.
Choose Any instead to show cards in this Tag Database that match either condition. This does not add cards from outside the database’s tag.

Created time and Updated time are recorded automatically for each card. A Date property is entered by you, for example to record a deadline.
Show timestamp columns: Open the add-property menu and select Created time or Updated time under Default properties. Use the same menu to show a hidden timestamp column again.
Filter by a timestamp: Open Filter and choose the time field, date condition, and value. You can filter by the field even when its column is hidden.
Card count: The bottom of the table shows the number of visible cards. Sum, average, and other numeric calculations for Number properties are not currently supported, including calculations for selected rows.
