I want to delete all of my Heptabase data and start fresh. How can I do it?
To fully reset your account and remove all data, you may need to contact our support team to enable the "Deactivate cloud sync" feature for you.
After enabling the feature, please follow the steps below to reset your account:
1. Remove your data from the cloud:
Open the Heptabase desktop app.
In the left sidebar, click on your Space name, then select Settings > Advanced.
Click Deactivate cloud sync.
2. Delete your local data:
Completely close the Heptabase app.
Based on your operating system, delete the following folder:
Windows:
Open your file explorer.
Paste
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\project-metainto the address bar.Delete the entire
project-metafolder.
MacOS:
Open Finder.
Press
Cmd + Shift + Gand paste~/Library/Application Support.Locate and delete the
project-metafolder.
Linux:
Navigate to
~/.config/project-meta.Delete the entire
project-metafolder.
3. Restart sync to start fresh:
Reopen the Heptabase app.
Go to your Space name in the sidebar, then select Settings > Advanced.
Click Activate cloud sync to start syncing again with a clean state.
