I want to delete all of my Heptabase data and start fresh. How can I do it?
Please use our desktop app, go to the sidebar and click Heptabase Logo > Settings > Backup & Sync > Deactivate Sync to remove all your data from the cloud.
Then, please fully close the Heptabase app and delete the folders located at the following addresses based on your operating system.
Windows
Go to the address bar of your system file manager, paste %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\project-meta, and then delete the entire project-meta folder.
MacOS
Go to the Finder of your Mac, press Cmd + Shift + G, then paste ~/Library/Application Support , find the project-meta folder, and delete it completely.
Linux
Go to the following path ~/.config/project-meta and delete the entire project-meta folder.
This should remove all your data locally as well.
After doing that, please open the Heptabase desktop app again, go to the sidebar again and click Heptabase Logo > Settings > Backup & Sync > Activate Cloud Sync to ensure your data is synced again.
