Currently, Heptabase only offers a free plan through collaboration. To use the free plan, a paid user must invite you as a collaborator. If you're new to Heptabase, you'll automatically join the free plan. There is no other way to register or access the free plan directly.

Common questions
Q: I invited a friend who never used Heptabase, but they're prompted to subscribe. Is there really a free plan?
A: If your friend created an account before February 7, 2025, the system recognizes them as an existing user, making them ineligible for the free plan.
In this situation, we recommend your friend upgrade and activate the 7-day free trial. If they decide not to continue after the trial, they can still collaborate in your space without issue. Trying the regular subscription is risk-free, so we encourage all free users to give it a go.
