What does "Your local storage is almost full" mean?

To let desktop users access Heptabase offline, we’ll save all your data in local storage. However, if your local storage (usually your C drive) falls below 10% of its total capacity, you might run into some space issues.

Here are a few ways to resolve this issue:

  1. If you've uploaded a lot of multimedia content to Heptabase, changing the path for these attachments might help. If you think you meet this criteria, please reach out to our support team. We'll see if we can allow you to change your hard drive.

  2. Clear any existing data on your current hard drive to free up some space.

  3. Use our web app instead of the desktop app.
